Today, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11 am, the monthly crime review meeting for the month of June-2026 was held in the conference room of the Dhaka Range DIG office. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Md. Iqbal Hossain, DIG of Dhaka Range.

The meeting reviewed the overall crime situation, law and order management, crime suppression activities and progress of various important indicators in the 13 districts under Dhaka Range for the month of June/2026. The DIG gave necessary directions to the unit heads to conduct more effective, professional and people-friendly police activities in crime prevention and control. He laid special emphasis on strengthening coordinated and intelligence-based operations to prevent crimes, arrest accused, arrest warrants, drugs, terrorism, juvenile gangs and other crimes.

The meeting was attended by RRF Commandant (Additional DIG) Mr. Rumana Akhter, PPM-Services, Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) Mr. MA Jalil, Additional DIG (Crime Management) Mr. Md. Sayfuzzaman Farooqui, Additional DIG (Operations) Mr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Commandant, In-Service Training Center, Tangail Md. Imamur Rashid, Superintendent of Police, Traffic Management (promoted to the post of Additional DIG) Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman, PPM-Services, other senior officers of Dhaka Range Office, Police Superintendents of 13 districts under Dhaka Range and Commandants of Madaripur and Gazipur In-Service Training Centers.

In his closing remarks, the DIG called on all concerned to work with sincerity, professionalism and responsibility to further improve the overall crime situation in the range, provide fast and quality police services to the people, strengthen technology-based and digital monitoring systems, and increase the effectiveness of coordinated operations to ensure a safe and people-friendly law and order system.
