Dr. Abdul Wadud:

International Day of Peace or World Day of Peace is a day declared by the United Nations. The purpose of the day declared with the aim of establishing global peace is to permanently resolve wars and conflicts from the world and to that end to deliver humanitarian aid to the warring regions of the world through the implementation of cease-fires. The day was first celebrated in 1981. Currently, all member states of the United Nations, members of various political and military parties and people from different regions of the world celebrate the day with due dignity.

The celebration of the day begins with the ringing of ‘peace bell’ and special messages at the United Nations headquarters in New York every year. Various public and non-governmental organizations of the member states of the United Nations organize special events on this day. Also, artists, academics and humanitarians from different countries are appointed as ‘United Nations Peace Ambassador’ and their activities are remembered.

In 1981, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution by the United Kingdom and Costa Rica to establish a world without war. According to resolution number 36/67 adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, the day the session of the United Nations General Assembly begins on the third Tuesday of September every year is declared as “International Peace Day” with the slogan “not war, peace chai”. Later, on September 7, 2001, it was decided to celebrate “as International Day of Peace” on September 21 every year since 2002 in accordance with Resolution No. 55/282 adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.

Like every year, International Peace Day is being celebrated worldwide on September 21. This year’s theme is a call to the war-torn world.— Act Now for a Peaceful World delivered a written message from the UN Secretary General from the United Nations Information Center Dhaka on Sunday (September 14). The message said, our world today is torn apart by war and conflict. Millions of families are losing their homes, children’s childhoods are being wiped out, and human dignity is constantly being violated. International law is being broken, and a record number of people are being forced to become refugees. According to the Secretary-General, “they just want peace. Peace is everyone’s responsibility. The impact of war is spreading not only in conflict-affected areas, but all over the world. He also said that guns should be stopped, suffering should be ended, divisions should be removed and bridges should be built. Sustainable development must also be promoted, as nine of the countries where development is lagging behind are currently victims of conflict. In order to move towards peace, suppression of racism, dehumanization and dissemination of misinformation is essential, which incites conflict. Instead, We should speak the language of respect, show compassion and use positive influence to establish peace.
The message also said that where there is peace, families come together, society is reorganized, children learn and play sports. So peace does not tolerate delay, it must start now.

At the beginning of the day, the oppressed and oppressed nations in the corner of this vast Bashundhara had a green dream, chested with golden hope that from today injustice is going to leave the chest of the world forever, hatred of religion and caste is going to be resolved, the gap between rich and poor will disappear, the arrogance of power and hegemony will be erased, conflict and strife will stop, war-rebellion will be forgotten, arms manufacturing companies will be locked. Instead, countless streams of peace will flow, the world will be filled with much-desired happiness and peace, much-anticipated peace and harmony will be established, cordiality and amity will be established among people of different races and religions, a safe, conflict-free and peaceful earth will develop. But today’s world is full of conflict and turmoil. The sky and air are burdened with the cries of the oppressed. The chest of the world is bursting with the cries of mothers and children. Especially in countries like Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, etc., the turbulent wave of unrest has shattered the dream of peace. What can peace be there but a daydream?

In today’s world where conflict and economic inequality are covered in complex ways, the pursuit of peace is not only a moral imperative but an essential condition for sustainable development. Peace and economic development are not only interrelated, they strengthen each other. Peace builds stable economies, whereas economic instability provokes social unrest.
It reflects the thought of global harmony as opposed to the violence and war that is spreading around the world

The concept in Shanti– will remain abstract until it can be taken to practice through a cultural process, where every level of society will be involved. To establish the concept of peace, moral discussion and values of mutual respect should be inculcated from childhood. These ideals should be spread across generations and geographical boundaries. Through this cultural expansion of peace, we can hope to build a world where all problems can be solved through discussion and mutual respect, not through conflict and violence.
As human civilization progresses on the path of honesty, progress and social prosperity, technology, science and cultural ideals strive to advance the progress and social harmony of mankind through past agreements. This ethical concept of wanting peace, not war, can help us move towards human and social progress. The outcome of the war is overwhelmingly destructive and it produces society and disorganization. War causes loss of life, breakdown of the world, economic recession and social anarchy. The history of mankind witnesses the wars and conflicts facing the earth. Over the centuries, human society has surrendered through war for various reasons. Based on cooperation, we can build an idealistic institution that seeks peace, not war, that can help make our world more peaceful, prosperous and better. The human world welcomes positive agreements, war is not a solution to any problem. It’s not just a way of expulsion but it makes the problem more likely. Attributed efforts, including security arsenals and cooperation agencies, have failed to be deployed. Moreover, war can result in invaluable loss of human life, economic loss, social conflict and chaos, and proposals for destructive effects on the natural environment. Here the assessment of security, justice and human rights is very important. There is a need to increase awareness and awareness about the life and fundamental rights of every member of the society. Fundamental Law of Freedom of Justice, Equality and Human Valuation. It is a calm society and the best medium for resilience. Politics requires a sense of peace and increased necessary communication. Discussions and compromises on all issues are possible through the country’s partners and inter-country relations. It can help improve international relations and community justice. In this age of growth and progress, it is necessary for all to work together and build a more developed and prosperous world through social justice. It’s education, Can help ensure community and state development through creation and progress. With this proposal, we make our humble request to war policy and social forces, call for a return from war, and through peace and cooperation we support ensuring progress and social justice in communities, states and the world. We are moving towards a peaceful and developed world and we are all ready to work together to do that.

If we look at the past history of war, we see that no war was good for human civilization. The post-war situation in every war and war was very alarming. War can never bring about positive or creative change in civilization, due to which we cannot or do not support war in any way. War includes only destruction and destruction and imperialist dominance. War destroys personal, family, social, national and international relations. Those who have created a global stir by talking about human rights violations are the ones who are fighting from country to country to sustain the arms trade today. In the history of human civilization, peace has been highly valued, which is a priceless gift of life. The source of war always comes from discontent and dialectical ideas; But without peace, the progress and support of human society cannot be accomplished. Common symbols of peace are unity, cooperation, fundamental rights and compromise. This creates a creative situation, which is contrary to the concept of war. War displays in personal and social hell, Where personal disability can be done for the sake of the opponent. Of course, it can also destroy individual rights and the core beauty of a just society.

Peace is a fundamental right of human society and an essential accessory of life. The importance of peace is immense. It is the predominant condition for a healthy, social and economic development. Peace plays an important role in the progress and growth of a country. Through peace, cooperation and co-constructed relations can be developed on the territory, which can once again create the context for the progress of the war. With all opportunities and possibilities we can focus on peace and progress and create a lasting peaceful and harmonious society for our world. If we are all determined to achieve this goal together
‘not war, peace chai’ can be possible and we can help create a bright future for future generations. Peace creates conditions like alternatives, which ensure development and development in society and life. Peace allows cooperation, commercial cleanliness, scientific progress, exchange of literature and art between different countries. It creates social and political definitions and forms the reservoir of a strong and progressive society.

We need to rebuild our vision of peace, as our present world is hampered in creating harmony in the face of various multidimensional problems. War, free life, as a means of rumours, certainly creates deep and complex problems and creates many obstacles in the way of solving them. These barriers must be removed for the following improvements. It is possible to establish peace between different countries through commercial relations and socio-economic development. Education creates an institutional medium that helps increase human resources and intelligence. Creates global equality and exchange between different countries and we can create the necessary institutions to increase it. All must work together to preserve peace and prevent war and conflict. We can establish the core elements of peace at all levels – cooperation at the state and international levels, establishing conditions of discrimination of character and religion and building societies based on education, culture and human values. In order to sustain human civilization, there is no alternative to creative thinking and stopping the war for the developed world in order to build a humane society, state, and world. War creates negative effects in people, evokes thoughts of consumerism, occupation, extreme self-centeredness. As a result, people are moving towards building an inhumane society by involving themselves in activities like conflict, conflict, murder, murder. Which is by no means desirable. It has become necessary to save the world from this horror of global war. To get rid of this horrors of war, the imperialist powers must accept all the conditions of the ceasefire and also stop the production of all kinds of weapons. The imperialist powers have waged war in various tactics from country to country and within the country to sustain their arms trade, to expand this business. If the world’s superpower countries cut this expenditure every year in the military sector, it would be possible to guarantee food and education for the people of the whole world with that amount of money. Today’s world does not need weapons, it needs human power Generous education, compassionate values and mutual harmony. May the sky of Bashundhara be filled with the white pearl of peace.
