Former Chairman of Sonakhara Union Parishad No. 2 of Raiganj Upazila of Sirajganj District. Was a candidate. Abdul Quddus Mandal is well-known as the pride of youth, the friend of the poor, a prominent social worker. He was born in a noble Muslim family in Pulla village of Sonakhara union. A familiar face to all the leaders of Raiganj Upazila as a soldier and tested leader of the ideals of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the founder of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP. He is already distributing leaflets in 9 wards every day in exchange of views with party leaders and workers and asking for votes from door to door of voters. In the 2016 UP elections, he was nominated by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP and a candidate for the grain of rice. Although he won that election, he was defeated through vote rigging. 2014, 2018,He led from the front to build a strong movement against the illegal Hasina government’s unvoted rigged elections in 2024. While protesting on the streets of restoring democracy, he was arrested several times in Raiganj including Dhaka and had to go to jail. He is working tirelessly in Sonakhara Union as a dedicated hardworking and tested leader of the party. As the leader of the field, he is implementing all the political programs with devotion risking his life for the party by standing by the people of Raiganj upazila. Sonakhara Union is important and unparalleled in taking necessary steps to eradicate drugs.
